The Fossil has a draw weight adjustable in 5 LBS increments from 50 to 70 LBS. Due to the substantial draw weight, it is suitable only for adult archers aged 18 or over who have sufficient strength to operate it safely. The draw length is adjustable from 25 to 31 inches, accommodating archers approximately 160 to 200 cm tall. The supplied manual explains how to adjust the settings. The bow comes with a whisker biscuit arrow rest, a sight with three fluorescent pins, a release and two aluminium arrows. It is also fitted with a peep sight and a d-loop. This is a right-handed design: the bow is held in the left hand and the string is drawn with the right hand.
